Belén Moratalla, Inelén Ortín and Cristina Planells graduated in Industrial Design from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (2005). After completing their studies, they specialised in three areas: interior design, graphic design and fine arts respectively. In 2006 they founded Macalula, a multidisciplinary design collective. In 2009 they went their separate ways, but have continued to collaborate on different projects. Teamwork and multidisciplinary creation have always been the pillars of their work. Now they face new challenges with the experience and knowledge acquired over the years, but without ever forgetting their roots
